How do I determine which Screener I should take?
Currently, Cohort Leader applicants have the opportunity to take the English Screener, the Spanish Screener, or both the English and Spanish Screener. This will determine which content pathway they can support.
Cohort Leader applicants who pass the English Screener will be able to support teachers within the English and Administrator pathway.
Cohort Leader applicants who pass the Spanish Screener will be able to support teachers within the Bi-literacy pathway.

How many people can one Cohort Leader serve?
A full-time Cohort Leader can serve up to:
- One comprehensive cohort with up to 60 participants.

How many times can a Cohort Leader applicant go through the Screening Process?
A Cohort Leader applicant can go through the Screening Process up to three times per year.

I am hiring a Cohort Leader through the Local Implementation Model. How will I know if my candidates have passed the screener?
The TEA will notify all Authorized Providers, including Reading Academies 11, at the end of each screening window with all candidates that have applied and whether they have passed the screening process. If you know that you have applicants that have participated in the current screening window, please email ReadingAcademies11@esc11.net with the names of your candidates, and we will respond with whether they have passed the screening process.
