Priority For Services Action Plan

- A month-by-month school calendar that indicates when the Title I, Part C LEA Contact will provide campus principals, appropriate campus staff, and parents with the priority for service criteria and updated Texas New Generation System (TXNGS) Priority for Service reports;
- Include in your school calendar when the Title I, Part C LEA Contact will meet with district PEIMS staff to review the accuracy of migrant student data;
- A section that describes in detail federal, state, and local programs that serve Priority of Service students;
- A narrative section that explains how the district's Title I, Part C LEA Contact will use Texas New Generation System (TXNGS) Priority for Services reports to give priority placements to these students in Migrant Education Program activities;
- Include in your school calendar when the district's Title I, Part C LEA Contact, Migrant Education Program staff, and migrant school staff will make home and/or community visits to update parents on the academic progress of their children;
- A narrative section that explains how the district's Title I, Part C LEA Contact will ensure that Priority for Services students receive priority access to social workers and community social services/agencies;
- The Title I, Part C LEA Contact, will include the Priority for Services Action Plan in the district's Student Achievement Improvement Plan.
