    A-F Accountability System

The A–F Accountability System is a statewide rating system established by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) that allows them to evaluate the academic performance of Texas public schools and assign a letter grade (A–F) to districts and campuses.

The A–F Accountability overall measures what students are learning in each grade and whether or not they are ready for the next grade. It also shows how well a school prepares their students for success after high school - in college, the workforce or the military. For more information, visit the Texas Education Agency A-F Accountability page

School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST)

School FIRST, the state's school financial accountability rating system, ensures that Texas public schools are held accountable for the quality of their financial management practices and that they improve these practices. View school district and charter FIRST ratings on the TEA School FIRST page.

    Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)

The TAPR, previously known as the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) Reports, pulls together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. The report must include various data points as specified in TEC §39.301.

Highlights of the report include performance on accountability indicators; State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) outcomes by specific student groups; graduation plans; SAT, ACT, and workforce training program outcomes; prior-year non-proficient student outcomes; dual-language proficiency progress; student profile information and Texas institution of higher education (IHE) outcomes. Visit the TEA TAPR page for the most current reports.
