High School Girls Go CyberStart Initiative, students who excel in both the CyberStart Game and CyberStart Essentials will be eligible to win $2.5 million in scholarships for advanced cybersecurity training as well as receive introductions to employers for internships and jobs in the field.
Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship,. Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program is the first of its kind within the aerospace and defense industry and awards up to $6,600 to as many as 150 recipients each year. Through the scholarship, Lockheed Martin hopes to encourage students to consider a rewarding career in the technology and advanced manufacturing industry.

Fort Worth Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Scholarship - $3,000.00 Award and can be renewed for up to a total of $12,000.00. Link to details and application.
LULAC National Scholarship Fund – Scholarships range from $250 to $2.000 and should be submitted to one of the councils listed below. There are four LULAC Councils accepting applications in North Texas. Students seeking to apply can complete an application on-line and then will have the choice of submitting on-line or via the US Mail to the addresses provided below. Applicants should submit their application and attach a transcript that details their most recent GPA as well as a letter of acceptance from the college that they most likely to attend in the next academic year. Students are encouraged not to pay extra to express mail their application as a postmark date on or before March is sufficient for the application to be considered by the selection committee. NOTE: Scholarship Applicants who are members of the LGBTQIA community (including straight allies) from any high school or college or university in North Texas should consider submitting their application to the LULAC Rainbow Council #4871 at the address provided below. NOTE: This scholarship requires a letter of recommendation to be attached.
