Accountability Reset

Stakeholders are encouraged to provide feedback through October 1, 2022, to help inform them about an updated October accountability system framework, which will be published in late October 2022. The proposed 2023 Accountability Manual will be published in early 2023 for additional feedback prior to becoming rule in summer 2023. Questions and/or feedback can be sent to performance.reporting@tea.texas.gov.

Due to new tiered CTE funding, PEIMS must be changed.
FTE estimator based on the new weighted funding tiers passed by the legislature in 2021. Link to the estimator. (Make a copy for yourself to use the Google Sheet.)
- Tier 1 1.1 (Courses not in a Program of Study)
- Tier 2 1.28 (Courses in level 1 and 2 Program of Study)
- Tier 3 1.47 (Courses in level 3 and 4 Program of Study)

Newly released Innovative courses for 2021-2022:
- Innovative Courses—Career and Technical Education
- Innovative Courses—Organizations Other Than School Districts (CTE Courses such as PLTW included here)
Educational Aide I Certification - is now available for your Education and Training Students! It will also count as an approved IBC and qualifies for IBC reimbursement. Additional Support with applying in TEAL.
SBOE has updated courses, as some were moved to Chapter 130 and others removed altogether.
