Setting up and online course.
When teaching online, it is imperative that you have a "home base" set up as a one-stop shop for your students to access announcements, course content, assignments, and quizzes. The best place to do this is in an LMS such as Canvas or Google Classroom. Check out the links below to help you get started setting up your online classroom.

Recording video lessons for students.
Making short screencast videos of your teaching is a great way to teach your students in an online format so that they still hear your voice. The easiest way to create a teaching video is to you a tool such as Google Slides to create the content. Then while presenting your Google Slides, use a recording tool such as Screencast-O-Matic or Screencastify to record your voiceover as you go through the slides. The end result is a video that can be saved and embedded in your LMS of choice.

Setting up a live session to deliver instruction.
Live online instruction is a great way to be available to speak with students, answer questions, and interact with them while still being remote. Make sure to communicate what time you will be offering your online instruction to your students ahead of time. Setting up a consistent time each day is a great way to encourage consistency. Publish the link to your Zoom meeting or Google Meet in your LMS of choice. You can also send the link out via Remind, email, Facebook groups, or any other online communication tool that you use with your students.
